Casis Organic Garden
The organic garden is open on Fridays! The kids can come during lunch recess to weed, water, plant and hopefully soon harvest and taste some delicious veggies. During this time (11-1pm) we are always looking for parent volunteers to help out. If you want to help but Fridays are tough to make, come Monday morning after drop off when we get it ready for Friday. No experience or garden knowledge is necessary! It’s great for a good workout and lots of vitamin D. If you have any questions please contact Michelle Nguyen at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Check-in Procedure for 2013-2014 School Year
Casis will have a new check-in procedure for the 2013-14 school year. Beginning in August, all doors will remain locked during the school day. All visitors will be required to buzz in at the front door. A newly installed system will allow office staff to see who is at the door and make verbal contact before allowing the visitor to enter the school. Once in the building, all visitors will go to the office and sign in for an ID badge. Adjusting to this new system will take time and patience from the Casis community, but it is for the safety and security of our children and staff.
